Spray-free Silver Masterbatch is a functional masterbatch developed to solve problems of traditional spray-painted silver products such as easy coating scratching, uneven metallic luster, high VOC emissions, and dulling of ordinary silver masterbatches. These products include home appliance decorative strips, consumer electronics shells, and automotive interior parts. It focuses on endowing products with bright uniform metallic silver appearance, spray-free environmental protection and long-term stain-resistant weatherability while preserving substrate mechanical properties, providing solutions for home appliance manufacturing, consumer electronics and automotive parts. It uses substrate-adaptable carriers: high-gloss ABS (MFR 17-25g/10min) for ABS, high-crystallinity PP (MFR 13-21g/10min) for PP, medium-viscosity PC (MFR 8-15g/10min) for PC, ensuring over 98% compatibility to avoid delamination, with substrate mechanical properties maintained (ABS tensile strength ≥41MPa, PC impact strength ≥60kJ/m²).
Its core components include bright aluminum-silver pigments: silica-coated micron aluminum-silver powder (particle size 3-18μm, addition 18%-35%), achieving mirror-like silver appearance (gloss 90-105, ΔE≤1.0); anti-fingerprint additives: fluorine-modified silicone resin (addition 2%-6%), reducing fingerprint residue to ≤8%; weather stabilizers: HALS + benzotriazole UV absorber (addition 2%-5%), ΔE≤1.8 after 2000h xenon aging. Via twin-screw gradient mixing (ABS 185-215℃, PP 165-195℃, PC 230-260℃), component dispersion reaches ≥98%, with melt flow rate increased by 18%-28%.
The masterbatch combines bright texture and environmental protection, reducing VOC emissions by ~10kg per ton of products. Stable at -45℃-90℃, it works at substrate processing temperatures (ABS 200-240℃, PP 175-215℃, PC 240-280℃) with adjustable addition 12%-40%, preserving ≥96% flexural modulus and ≥92% impact strength. It fits ABS home appliance strips, PP automotive interior parts, PC consumer electronics shells, and home decoration parts, reducing defects and environmental pollution.
