PE Corrugated Pipe Special Masterbatch is a functional masterbatch developed to solve problems in traditional PE corrugated pipe production, such as uneven corrugation molding due to poor material fluidity, insufficient ring stiffness causing deformation, and poor weather resistance leading to aging. It focuses on improving pipe structural stability and long-term performance while adapting to extrusion molding, providing solutions for municipal drainage, agricultural irrigation. It uses high melt strength HDPE (MFR 0.8-2g/10min) as carrier, blending well with HDPE raw materials at 160-190℃ to avoid defects like corrugation collapse.
Its core components include ring stiffness enhancers (25%-40%, talc + glass fiber) boosting ring stiffness to SN12.5-SN16, weather modifiers (3%-6%, HALS + UV absorber) maintaining ≥85% tensile strength after 1000h aging, and flow aids (2%-5%, PE wax + silicone) increasing flow rate by 15%-20%. 1%-3% dispersant ensures even distribution via 140-160℃ twin-screw granulation.
The masterbatch enhances both stiffness and weather resistance, reducing waste rate to <3%. Stable at -30℃-70℃, it fits 160-190℃ extrusion with 10%-30% addition, preserving flexibility and corrosion resistance. It’s used for municipal large-diameter pipes (withstanding road loads), agricultural pipes (resisting outdoor aging), communication protection pipes (ensuring signal stability), and chemical wastewater pipes (withstanding acid-base corrosion).
