PE Opening Masterbatch is a functional masterbatch developed to solve problems of traditional PE products that easily stick due to high surface tension, causing difficulty in separation and low processing efficiency, and uneven dispersion or reduced transparency after adding ordinary opening agents. It focuses on endowing PE products with efficient long-lasting opening performance without damaging transparency or flexibility, providing solutions for food packaging, agricultural films. It uses suitable carriers: LDPE (MFR 5-15g/10min) for LDPE/LLDPE products, HDPE (MFR 2-8g/10min) for HDPE products, ensuring ≥97% compatibility to avoid blooming.
Its core components include high-efficiency inorganic opening agents (15%-30%, nano-silica + CaCO3, 50-200nm) increasing Ra to 0.2-0.5μm and reducing separation force to 1-2N/25mm, dispersion modifiers (3%-8%, stearamide + PE wax) ensuring ≥95% dispersion, and transparency retainers (2%-5%, styrene-acrylate copolymer) limiting haze increase to ≤3%. 1%-3% antioxidants ensure even distribution via 120-150℃ twin-screw granulation.
The masterbatch offers long-lasting opening performance, with separation force stable for 6 months. Stable at -40℃-70℃, it fits 140-190℃ processing with 1%-5% addition, preserving strength. It’s used for PE food wrap ensuring easy tearing, agricultural films reducing damage, disposable gloves easy access, and stretch films boosting packaging efficiency.
