TPU Transparent Flame-Retardant Masterbatch is a functional masterbatch developed to solve problems of traditional TPU products such as flammability, high combustion smoke density and difficulty in balancing high transparency. It focuses on endowing TPU with long-lasting stable flame-retardant performance while maximizing its clear and transparent appearance, providing solutions for TPU products requiring strict fire safety and transparency.
The masterbatch’s core value lies in balancing transparency and flame retardancy without damaging TPU’s properties. Molded products have transmittance retention ≥90% for clear appearance and stable UL94 V0 flame retardancy. At -35℃ to 85℃, flame-retardant performance and transparency remain stable without precipitation. Stable at 155-225℃, 7%-14% addition preserves ≥86% elongation and ≥83% tear strength, fitting processes like injection molding for transparent films and electronic packages.
In applications, it’s used in electronic manufacturing for transparent TPU component shells and LED lampshades, enabling observation and fire prevention; in medical field for transparent infusion tubes meeting safety standards; in consumer electronics for phone cases retaining fashion; in construction for lighting films balancing fire safety and lighting.
