Spray-free Gold Masterbatch is a functional masterbatch developed to solve problems of traditional spray-painted gold products such as easy coating peeling, uneven metallic texture, heavy pollution, and dull gloss of ordinary gold masterbatches. These products include home appliance shells, consumer electronics accessories, and home decoration parts. It focuses on endowing products with uniform durable metallic gold appearance, spray-free environmental protection and strong weather resistance while preserving substrate (ABS, PP, PC) mechanical properties, providing solutions for home appliance manufacturing, consumer electronics and home decoration. It uses substrate-adaptable carriers: high-purity ABS (MFR 16-24g/10min) for ABS, homopolymer PP (MFR 12-20g/10min) for PP, ensuring over 98% compatibility to avoid delamination, with substrate mechanical properties maintained (ABS tensile strength ≥40MPa, PP impact strength ≥3.5kJ/m²).
Its core components include metallic effect pigments: coated aluminum silver powder + gold pearl powder (particle size 5-20μm, addition 15%-30%), achieving metallic gold appearance (ΔE≤1.2, gloss 80-95); gloss retainers: silicone resin + polyolefin wax (addition 2%-5%), reducing fingerprint residue to ≤12%; weather-resistant additives: HALS + UV absorber (addition 2%-6%), ΔE≤2.0 after 1500h xenon aging. Via twin-screw precision mixing (ABS 180-210℃, PP 160-190℃), component dispersion reaches ≥97%, with melt flow rate increased by 15%-25%.
The masterbatch combines environmental protection, texture and stability, reducing VOC emissions by ~8kg per ton of products. Stable at -40℃-85℃, it works at substrate processing temperatures (ABS 195-235℃, PP 170-210℃) with adjustable addition 10%-35%, preserving ≥95% flexural modulus and ≥90% impact strength. It fits ABS home appliance panels (high-end), PC consumer electronics shells (fingerprint-resistant), PP home accessories (wear-resistant), and automotive parts (odor-free), reducing defects and environmental pollution.
