PP Non-woven Bright & Soft Masterbatch is a functional masterbatch developed to solve problems of traditional PP non-wovens such as dull surface gloss, rough touch and stiff texture, which affect product appearance and user experience. It focuses on endowing PP non-wovens with uniform bright appearance and delicate soft touch without damaging core properties like filtration and breathability, providing solutions for PP non-woven products requiring high appearance and touch quality. It uses high-fluidity homopolymer PP as carrier, blending well with various PP substrates to fit spunbond, hot-rolled processes.
Its core components are composite system of brighteners (8%-15%, PEG fatty acid ester + erucamide) and softeners (5%-10%, modified silicone). Brighteners boost 60° gloss from 5-8GU to 18-25GU; softeners reduce hardness from ≥60HA to ≤35HA, keeping breathability ≥92%. 1%-2% dispersant ensures even distribution via low-temperature melting and twin-screw granulation.
The masterbatch balances brightness and softness, fitting all PP non-woven processes. Molded non-wovens have uniform gloss and soft touch, stable at -20℃-70℃ (gloss fluctuation ≤3GU, hardness ≤5HA) even after 10 washes. Stable at 160-210℃, 3%-7% addition preserves ≥88% tensile strength and ≥85% tear strength, fitting spunbond/hot-rolled processes.
In applications, it’s used for baby diaper surface layers reducing skin irritation, home decoration non-wovens enhancing beauty, gift packaging upgrading grade, and clothing linings improving comfort, meeting needs in multiple fields.
