Non-woven Filled Masterbatch is a type of functional masterbatch developed to solve problems of traditional non-wovens such as insufficient mechanical strength, easy deformation, high cost, and poor air permeability or fiber breakage after adding conventional fillers. It focuses on adapting to non-woven processing technologies while improving non-woven strength, dimensional stability and controlling raw material cost, providing customized solutions for non-woven products in hygiene care, construction materials, agricultural covering and industrial filtration. This type of masterbatch selects suitable carriers based on non-woven substrates: for PP non-wovens, homopolymer PP with melt flow rate (MFR) 20-35g/10min is used to ensure efficient integration with PP spunbond materials; for PET non-wovens, low-melting PET is used to avoid high-temperature damage to PET fibers; the compatibility between carrier and substrate must reach over 95% to prevent defects like delamination, fiber agglomeration or surface fuzzing after non-woven formation.
In application scenarios: in hygiene care, ultra-fine calcium carbonate filled masterbatch is used for PP spunbond diaper guide layers, improving tear resistance while retaining air permeability; in construction, talc filled masterbatch is used for PET needle-punched geotextiles, enhancing wear resistance and weather resistance; in agriculture, hollow clay microsphere filled masterbatch is used for PP agricultural covers, reducing weight while maintaining light transmittance ≥75%; in industrial filtration, light calcium carbonate filled masterbatch is used for PP filter non-wovens, improving strength without blocking pores; in daily necessities, low-addition (8%-15%) talc masterbatch is used for PP non-woven shopping bags, slightly improving stiffness while reducing cost.
