PERT Purple Masterbatch is a functional masterbatch developed to solve problems of traditional PERT pipes such as uneven purple color, easy fading in chemical media, and impaired corrosion resistance from ordinary purple pigments. These traditional PERT pipes include chemical raw material transmission pipes, special water supply pipes, and photovoltaic cooling pipes. It focuses on endowing pipes with uniform bright purple appearance, long-term aging resistance and chemical stability while preserving PERT’s chemical resistance, pressure resistance and flexibility, providing solutions for chemical transmission, special water supply and photovoltaic cooling. It uses high-purity PERT resin as carrier with a melt flow rate of 0.5-1.5g/10min, ensuring over 98% compatibility with various PERT substrates to avoid pigment precipitation or surface defects, while maintaining the substrate’s inherent mechanical properties.
Its core components include chemical-resistant purple pigments: surface-coated quinacridone pigments (particle size 0.1-0.3μm, addition 22%-35%), achieving purple appearance (ΔE≤1.2, C≥65) and 90%-95% light-shielding rate; anti-aging additives: blended hindered phenol antioxidants and UV absorbers (addition 1.5%-4%), maintaining ≥90% tensile strength after 2000h xenon aging; efficient dispersants: blended polyolefin wax and fatty acid amide (addition 2%-5%), ensuring ≥97% dispersion via twin-screw mixing at 155-175℃ and increasing melt flow rate by 10%-15%.
The masterbatch combines excellent chemical stability and appearance durability with strong scenario adaptability. Stable at -40℃-85℃, it works at 165-205℃ with adjustable addition 1%-4%, preserving ≤1% weight loss after 12-month glycol immersion and ≥1000h pressure resistance at 20℃. It fits PERT chemical transmission pipes, special water supply pipes, photovoltaic cooling pipes, and industrial waste pipes, reducing defects and ensuring long-term reliability.
