PERT Orange Masterbatch is a functional masterbatch developed to solve problems of traditional PERT pipes such as uneven orange color, easy fading under high temperature, and impaired creep resistance from ordinary orange pigments. These traditional PERT pipes include home heating pipes, floor heating pipes, and hot spring transmission pipes. It focuses on endowing pipes with uniform bright orange appearance, long-term aging resistance and high-temperature stability while preserving PERT’s heat resistance, creep resistance and flexibility, providing solutions for home decoration pipelines, floor heating projects and hot spring transmission. It uses high-purity PERT resin as carrier with a melt flow rate of 0.5-1.5g/10min, ensuring over 98% compatibility with various PERT substrates (ordinary PERT, heat-resistant PERT Type II, impact-resistant PERT) to avoid pigment precipitation or surface defects, while maintaining the substrate’s inherent mechanical properties (tensile strength ≥19MPa, elongation at break ≥350%).
Its core components include high-temperature resistant orange pigments: surface-modified azo pigments (particle size 0.1-0.3μm, addition 20%-35%), achieving orange appearance (ΔE≤1.2, C≥68) and 90%-95% light-shielding rate; anti-aging additives: blended hindered phenol antioxidants and UV absorbers (addition 1.5%-4%), maintaining ≥90% tensile strength after 168h heat aging at 120℃; efficient dispersants: blended polyolefin wax and fatty acid ester (addition 2%-5%), ensuring ≥97% dispersion via twin-screw mixing at 160-180℃ and increasing melt flow rate by 10%-15%.
The masterbatch combines excellent high-temperature stability and appearance durability with strong scenario adaptability. Stable at -40℃-95℃, it works at 170-210℃ with adjustable addition 1%-4%, preserving ≥95% Vicat softening temperature and ≥1000h creep resistance at 95℃. It fits PERT home heating pipes (color-identifiable), PERT Type II floor heating pipes (aging-resistant), hot spring transmission pipes (high-temperature resistant), and industrial low-temperature pipes (cold-resistant), reducing defects and ensuring long-term reliability.
