PE White Masterbatch is a functional masterbatch developed to solve problems of traditional PE products (e.g., PE films, injection parts, pipes) such as uneven whiteness, easy yellowing, poor weather resistance, and uneven dispersion of ordinary white pigments. It focuses on endowing PE products with high whiteness, uniform color and long-term weather resistance without damaging processability, providing solutions for food packaging, home appliance shells. It uses suitable carriers: LDPE (MFR 5-15g/10min) for LDPE/LLDPE products, HDPE (MFR 2-8g/10min) for HDPE products, ensuring ≥97% compatibility.
Its core components include high-coverage rutile titanium dioxide (30%-50%, particle size 0.2-0.4μm, whiteness ≥95%) boosting whiteness to 92-96, weather stabilizers (2%-5%, HALS + UV absorber) limiting yellowing index to ≤3 after 1000h aging, and dispersants (3%-8%, barium stearate + PE wax) ensuring ≥98% dispersion via 120-150℃ twin-screw granulation.
The masterbatch offers excellent whiteness uniformity and weather resistance, stable at -40℃-70℃. With 2%-8% addition at 140-200℃ processing, it preserves ≥95% tensile strength. It’s used for PE food films ensuring safety, HDPE appliance shells preventing yellowing, outdoor PE furniture resisting fading, and PE storage boxes meeting safety standards.
