PE Solid Wall Pipe Black Masterbatch is a functional masterbatch developed to solve problems of traditional PE solid wall pipes (e.g., water supply pipes, gas pipes) such as uneven color, weak UV resistance, easy aging, and poor mechanical properties after adding ordinary black pigments. It focuses on endowing pipes with uniform durable black appearance, strong UV resistance and aging resistance while ensuring pressure-bearing performance, providing solutions for municipal water supply, gas transmission. It uses suitable carriers: HDPE (MFR 0.8-2g/10min) for water/gas pipes, MDPE (MFR 2-5g/10min) for drainage pipes, ensuring ≥98% compatibility to avoid defects.
Its core components include high-coverage carbon black (25%-40%, particle size 15-30nm) achieving L value ≤15, UV stabilizers (3%-6%, carbon black + UV absorber) maintaining ≥90% tensile strength after 2000h aging, and processing modifiers (2%-5%, PE wax + zinc stearate) ensuring ≥97% dispersion via 140-160℃ twin-screw granulation.
The masterbatch offers stable appearance and durability, stable at -40℃-80℃. With 2%-5% addition at 160-190℃ processing, it preserves ≥95% hydrostatic strength. It’s used for HDPE water pipes ensuring safety, gas pipes meeting GB 15558.1-2019, MDPE drainage pipes resisting aging, and industrial pipes withstanding corrosion.
