PE Black Masterbatch is a functional masterbatch developed to solve problems of traditional PE products (e.g., films, injection parts, agricultural films) such as uneven color, weak UV resistance, poor dispersion of ordinary carbon black. It focuses on endowing products with uniform black appearance, strong aging resistance while adapting to PE processing like blowing, injection, extrusion, providing solutions for packaging, agriculture, home appliances. It uses suitable carriers: LDPE (MFR 10-20g/10min) for films, HDPE (MFR 5-12g/10min) for injection parts, ensuring ≥97% compatibility.
Its core components include high-dispersion carbon black (20%-35%, particle size 20-40nm) achieving L value ≤18, composite anti-aging system (3%-7%, carbon black + HALS + antioxidant) maintaining ≥88% tensile strength after 1500h aging, and process-adaptable additives (PE wax for blowing, zinc stearate for injection). It’s granulated at 130-160℃ via twin-screw extruder for even dispersion.
The masterbatch adapts to all processes, reducing film breakage rate to <1% and injection waste rate to <2%. Stable at -45℃-85℃, it’s used at 140-200℃ with 1.5%-6% addition, preserving ≥93% tensile strength. It fits PE courier bags (lightproof), agricultural films (weed control), appliance parts (anti-aging), and municipal pipes (corrosion resistance).
