PA Black Masterbatch is a functional masterbatch developed to solve problems of traditional PA products such as uneven black color, easy graying under high-temperature processing, and impaired mechanical strength from ordinary carbon black. These traditional PA products include automotive connectors, electronic terminals, and industrial gears. It focuses on endowing products with uniform deep black appearance, long-term aging resistance and processing stability while preserving PA materials’ heat resistance, mechanical strength and oil resistance, providing solutions for automotive manufacturing, electronic components and industrial transmission. It uses substrate-adaptable carriers: high-purity PA6 (MFR 15-25g/10min) for PA6, high-crystallinity PA66 (MFR 12-20g/10min) for PA66, ensuring over 98% compatibility to avoid carbon black agglomeration or performance decay, while maintaining substrate mechanical properties.
Its core components include high-purity nano-carbon black: surface-modified acetylene black (particle size 18-30nm, oil absorption 90-120mL/100g, addition 25%-40%), achieving L value ≤13 and 95%-98% light-shielding rate; heat-resistant additives: aromatic polyamide oligomer (addition 2%-5%), maintaining ≥88% tensile strength after 1000h heat aging at 200℃; efficient dispersants: blended polyamide wax and fatty acid amide (addition 3%-7%), ensuring ≥97% dispersion via twin-screw mixing (PA6 230-260℃, PA66 250-280℃) and increasing melt flow rate by 12%-18%.
The masterbatch combines excellent high-temperature stability and mechanical enhancement with wide scenario adaptability. Stable at -40℃-180℃, it works at PA processing temperatures (PA6 240-270℃, PA66 260-290℃) with adjustable addition 5%-20%, preserving ≥95% heat distortion temperature and ≥1000h creep resistance at 120℃. It fits PA6 automotive connectors, PA66 electronic terminals, PA industrial gears, and daily necessities, reducing defects and ensuring long-term reliability.
