High Pigment Orange Sand is a high-performance coloring product developed to solve problems of traditional orange coloring materials such as high cost, uneven color and poor weather resistance caused by high pigment addition in high-saturation scenarios. It focuses on achieving high-saturation uniform orange coloring with lower addition, while ensuring processing stability and outdoor weather resistance, providing solutions for outdoor warning products, food packaging and children's toys. It uses modified resin carriers (PE-based: MFR 8-16g/10min, PP-based: MFR 10-18g/10min, PET-based: MFR 12-20g/10min) with over 98% compatibility with corresponding substrates, maintaining ≥94% tensile strength retention for PE and ≥90% elongation retention for PET.
Its core components include ultra-high concentration weather-resistant orange pigment: azo heat-resistant and light-resistant pigment with double coating (SiO₂+organic coating), particle size 0.15-0.3μm, addition 55%-70%, achieving high saturation (ΔE≤0.9, C≥72) with 1.5%-4% addition (35%-45% less than ordinary orange sand); high-efficiency dispersion system: grafted polyolefin dispersant + fatty acid ester (addition 4%-7%), ensuring ≥99% dispersion via twin-screw mixing (190-270℃) and increasing melt flow rate by 12%-22%; anti-fading additives: HALS + UV absorber (addition 2%-4%), controlling ΔE≤1.5 after 1200h xenon aging.
The product combines high-saturation coloring and cost optimization with strong adaptability. Stable at -35℃-110℃, it works at substrate processing temperatures with adjustable addition 1.5%-6%, maintaining ≥86% impact strength after UV aging. It fits PE outdoor warning piles (weather-resistant), PP food packaging (food-safe), PET toy shells (impact-resistant), and home appliance parts (color-stable), reducing defects and production costs.
