ABS Uncolored Natural Masterbatch is a functional masterbatch developed to solve problems of traditional ABS products such as uneven natural color, poor processing fluidity, easy yellowing, and impaired rigidity-toughness balance from ordinary modifiers. These traditional ABS products include home appliance shells, automotive interior parts, electronic enclosures and toys. It focuses on improving the product’s color uniformity, processing fluidity and anti-yellowing performance while preserving ABS’s natural color, rigidity and toughness, providing customized solutions for home appliance manufacturing, automotive parts and electronic packaging. It uses high-purity ABS resin as carrier with a melt flow rate of 15-25g/10min, ensuring over 98% compatibility with various ABS substrates (general-purpose ABS, high-impact ABS, heat-resistant ABS) to avoid delamination or mechanical property fluctuation, while maintaining the substrate’s inherent properties (tensile strength ≥40MPa, impact strength ≥20kJ/m²).
Its core components include processing flow aids: blended ethylene-acrylate copolymer and PE wax with addition amount 3%-8%, increasing melt flow rate to 20-30g/10min and shortening molding cycle by 10%-15%; anti-yellowing agents: blended hindered phenol antioxidants and UV absorbers with addition amount 2%-5%, limiting yellowing index to ≤2.0 after 1000h xenon lamp aging; and gloss retainers: silicone resin with addition amount 1%-3%, increasing gloss value to 80-90. Via twin-screw mixing at 180-210℃, component dispersion uniformity reaches ≥97% with melt flow fluctuation ≤4%.
The masterbatch combines excellent appearance texture and processing performance with stable mechanical balance. Stable at -40℃-80℃, it works at 180-230℃ with adjustable addition 5%-20%, preserving ≥95% flexural modulus and ≥90% impact strength. It fits general-purpose ABS home appliance shells (high gloss), high-impact ABS automotive interior parts (stable mechanics), heat-resistant ABS electronic enclosures (chemical-resistant), and ABS toys (safe), reducing production waste and extending product life.
