ABS Porcelain White Masterbatch is a functional masterbatch developed to solve problems of traditional ABS products such as lack of warm texture in white appearance, rigid gloss, uneven hiding power, and surface granularity from ordinary white masterbatches. These traditional ABS products include high-end home appliance panels, bathroom accessories, and home decoration parts. It focuses on endowing products with ceramic-like delicate and soft porcelain white appearance, uniform hiding power and long-term anti-yellowing performance while preserving ABS’s mechanical properties, providing customized solutions for high-end home appliance manufacturing, bathroom building materials and home decoration. It uses high-purity ABS resin as carrier with a melt flow rate of 16-24g/10min, ensuring over 98% compatibility with various ABS substrates to avoid delamination or rough surface, while maintaining the substrate’s inherent mechanical properties (tensile strength ≥41MPa, impact strength ≥21kJ/m²).
Its core components include porcelain-specific titanium dioxide: specially surface-treated rutile titanium dioxide with particle size 0.3-0.5μm and addition amount 35%-55%, achieving porcelain white appearance (L*≥95, ΔE≤1.2) and 95%-98% light-shielding rate; soft gloss modifiers: blended silicone resin and PE wax with addition amount 2%-5%, adjusting surface gloss to 60-75 and improving wear resistance (wear coefficient ≤0.03); efficient dispersants: blended EVA and fatty acid amide with addition amount 3%-7%, increasing melt flow rate to 18-28g/10min. Via twin-screw mixing at 185-215℃, component dispersion uniformity reaches ≥97%.
The masterbatch combines excellent appearance texture and performance stability with wide scenario adaptability. Stable at -35℃-80℃, it works at 185-235℃ with adjustable addition 6%-22%, preserving ≥96% flexural modulus and ≥91% impact strength. It fits high-end ABS home appliance panels, bathroom accessories, home decoration parts, and electronic device shells, reducing production waste and extending product life.
